Action Officer

HQRS Joint Visitors Bureau

Directed planning, execution and assessments for all NATO and US related engagements with NATO, US, and key Afghan leadership. Execution required providing a full spectrum of logistical support, to include overseeing air and ground moves, security, communications and billeting for high value personnel within the area of operations.

    2019 - 2020
  • Led 31 VIP visits requiring the coordination of 212 personnel moves containing 343 individuals in support of the NATO and US Train Advise Assist mission for Afghan Forces
  • Ran visits for German, Czech, and Spanish Chiefs’ of Defense visits to Afghanistan
  • Oversaw the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s visit to the Afghan area of operations kicking off the 2020 U.S. drawdown in Iraq
  • Coordinated the U.S. Secretary of Defense’s visit to Afghanistan to sign the Joint Declaration with the President of Afghanistan in order to foster the 2020 peace deal with the Taliban

Agile Combat Support / Human Systems Division

Led 17-member team as PM for the Personnel Locator Beacon Program – an Air Force replacement beacon to locate and rescue downed aircrew. Responsible for the cost, schedule, performance, and risk of program through contract award and into fielding and sustainment. Additionally, led 18-member team as PM for the Night Vision Goggle Enduring Capability Program.

    2018 - 2019
  • Procured 1,476 next generation NVGs worth $3.3M to warfighters
  • Established NVGs as safe to fly across 12 MDSs & 6 MAJCOMS
  • Led contract negotiations for IDIQ contract worth over $80M
    2017 - 2018
  • Used an innovative strategy combining large scale fielding and operational testing to cut schedule by 1 year and obligate $9M in funding before the end of the fiscal year
  • Drove production decision to purchase 13K personnel locator beacons cutting rescue time
  • Led emergency operational tests identifying beacon deficiencies and developed a solution avoiding 7.5K maintenance man-hours and saving $3M
  • Led a $361k acquisition of 450 new laptops to get compatible devices fielded in coordination with the replacement beacons.
